The CEO of the Ghana Upstream Petroleum Chamber, David Ampofo has paid a courtesy call on the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia at his office in Jubilee House.
They discussed matters of interest to the wellbeing and progress of the upstream oil and gas industry.
Mr Ampofo used the opportunity to brief the Vice President on the Chambers activities over the last year and called for more engagement between the government and the industry. The Vice President described the visit as timely and said government was always more than keen to hear the perspective of industry as it shapes policy for the sector.
Mr Ampofo was accompanied by Dr Kwame Boakye-Agyei, Operations Advisor at the Ghana Upstream Petroleum Chamber.
